Dr. Alfiee was a panelist during this event where leading scholars, community members and policy experts gathered to discuss progress and challenges within the five years that have passed since the Congressional Black Caucus Emergency Taskforce on Black Youth Suicide and Mental Health published the seminal report, Ring The Alarm: The Crisis of Black Youth Suicide and Mental Health. Taskforce Chair Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) delivered a keynote to kick off a day of panel discussions, followed by calls to action.
