At The AAKOMA Project, we envision a world where EVERY child, teen, and young adult (inclusive of all points of diversity) feels the freedom to live unapologetically and authentically within an environment that allows them to rise and thrive.

Are you or your organization in need of a training to help you better support diverse youth mental health?  Do you have a clear idea of the messages you want to share?  Connect with us to help you build a workshop!

Through generous funding from multiple trusted partners (please see our partners and sponsors page), The AAKOMA Project is offering 5 sessions of FREE virtual therapy with culturally competent providers nationwide. Patients must be 12-30 years of age and a member of a racially/culturally marginalized community to qualify for this support and this program is only for those new to therapy.

Are you in need of expert consultation to help you effectively build your organization’s capacity to serve youth and young adults of racially diverse backgrounds?  Do you need support to increase your mental health cultural responsiveness?  Please complete the form to connect with an expert from The AAKOMA Project team.

We are very pleased to be a leader-partner to the Blueprint for Youth Suicide Prevention, co-authored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), in collaboration with experts from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). This practical resource outlines clinical pathways, community partnerships, and policy and advocacy recommendations to better identify and support youth at risk for suicide.
